Established in 1994 in a building created in 1924 by Carl Fisher, the Van Dyke Upstairs offers food, full bar and live music nightly from 9 to 1 (no cover). Now managed by Luca Voltarel. Entertainment bookings by music director Randy Singer. There’s a sound system by Sonic Nerve Studios and a grand piano. Staffed by an acoustic engineer. No smoking indoors. Valet parking, street parking and parking lot with meters. Monthly line up of local and national acts in the genres of Funk, Latin, Soul, R&B and Jazz. According to Ana, “ . . . the place captures you the minute you walk in . . . ”
