The Joint Bar & Grill sits where Carrington’s Sports Bar & Grill once sat, and before that it was Jay Love’s Hooligan’s Pub & Oyster Bar (a.k.a. Big Hoolie’s), but the large area with pool tables is gone. Live music (from Classic Rock to Afro-Cuban Funk) and DJ’s on Fridays and Saturdays, bar, food, band stage, high definition 15 foot projection screen, free wireless internet. No smoking. Location at Dadeland Plaza provides ample well-lit parking. We each had a Margherita Pizza. For dessert, Ana enjoyed a Guava and Cream Cheese Pizza while I had an Oreo Key Lime Pie. Ana said, “ . . . we went for the music but the food itself was enough enticement . . . ”
At entrance, pointing right.
Turned left.
Turned further left.
Another angle.
The band Wide Open with their new lineup.
Well-lit parking lot, and there’s also parking on the roof.
