Celebrating Charlie Parker Festival

Join Jazzonian on Thursday, August 29th to say THANK YOU and honor the Jazz icon saxophonist Charlie Parker, 7 PM, at the Bienes Center for the Arts (St. Thomas Aquinas), 2801 S.W. 12th St., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312. Free admission.

 Musicians that would like to play, please RSVP to info@jazzonian.org. If you’re a young high school musician that can play bebop, we highly encourage you to RSVP as a performer for this event. CLICK HERE for more information.

 All proceeds will benefit the Jazzonian Youth Scholarship Education fund and the $1,000,000 Build a Jazz Museum Fellowship grassroots movement.

 The Jazzonian Historical Preservation Archive initiative relating to the collection and preservation of historical memorabilia and artifacts, vintage LP recordings, literature, photographs, art, and film as it relates to the history of Jazz in Florida as well as Jazz in general.
