Born in Cuba, Gerardo began violin at four years old. His parents were violin and piano teachers.

He graduated from Havana’s National Music School when he was twenty.

Gerardo has two CDs: “Latin Violin” and “Gerardo Aguillón Charanga.” He also directed and produced several recording projects.
