Bluesbobby’s Open Mic Blues Jam looking for new home
After more than seven years, the Thursday night jam was canceled by Cheers-Sunrise who recently took over Buzz’s. Look for host band BLUESNAKE to restart the Blues Jam at a new venue location soon.
Buzz’s Bar sold, will become
Cheers Restaurant & Bar – Sunrise
Joel and Cheryl Scott have sold Buzz’s Bar. Conrad and Shawn Chase from Cheers (Pompano Beach) will take over one day next week. Buzz’s will be renamed as Cheers Restaurant & Bar – Sunrise. This Saturday, a “Bye-Bye Buzz’s Party” starts at 9pm with live entertainment by “Crush Band,” free food, and drink specials. Drop by and say goodbye to Joel & Cheryl and meet the new owners. Look for a grand opening party in the coming weeks.
