BB's Sports Bar & Grill: 2009-05-08

Comfortable, friendly ambience with good drinks, good food, fine service, darts, pool tables, big screen TV, ping pong, stage with lights, and live music on the weekends. Ample, well lit parking. Smoking is allowed. According to Ana, “ . . . BB's gets an A . . . talk about a roomy, fun atmosphere . . . lots of cool black light and very friendly folks . . . ” In 2001, “BB's Sports Bar & Grill” was voted as "Best Place to Play Darts" and in 2000, voted as "Best Neighborhood Bar / South" by Miami New Times. “BB's Sports Bar & Grill” was known as “Norm's Hideaway” in the 80's.
 

First door to BB's from 158th Lane. It's on the stage side and looks like an exit as there is no outside handle.
 

This door is just south of the first door and around a corner. We entered here.
 

“Darts” sign was overhead as we walked in.
 

Just past the “Darts” sign and to the left is a photo display.
 

To the right, a bit past the photos, are dart boards.
 

Past the dart boards and again to the right are the pool tables and ping pong table.
 

By the ping pong table is a bar. Beyond the bar are tables, dance floor and band stage.
 

Closer to the bar. Further in the background is the blues band IKO-IKO.
 

To the right is a DJ booth.
 

Bar. A jukebox is at my back, DJ / pool tables / dart boards / ping pong table are to the left, and band stage is to the right.
